Privacy Policy
Give-2 (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a fundraising and campaign platform that helps organizations create donation pages, manage donor relationships, and run outreach across web, email, and SMS. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit our marketing website, use our authenticated portal, interact with hosted campaign pages, or otherwise use Give-2 services.
Give-2 is a multi-organization platform. Organizations that use Give-2 (“Customers”) may collect and process donor and supporter information for their own fundraising programs. Customers are responsible for providing their own privacy notices to donors and for obtaining any consents required by applicable law. This policy explains Give-2’s practices as the platform operator.
1. Information we collect
Depending on how you interact with Give-2, we may collect the following categories of information.
Platform account and portal use

- Session data: authentication tokens, session timestamps, and activity needed to keep you signed in to the portal.
- Operational logs: audit events related to campaigns, organizations, integrations, and administrative actions performed in the portal.
Organization and campaign configuration
- Organization profiles: organization names, branding, payment routing configuration, and integration settings managed by authorized users.
- Campaign content: campaign names, page layouts, form field definitions, templates, scheduling and send metadata, audience selections, and related creative assets uploaded or generated in the editor.

Donor, contact, and supporter records
- Contact records: names, email addresses, phone numbers, organization associations, donor group memberships, and custom fields stored in the Give-2 contact directory.
- Source information: how a contact record was created or updated (for example, manual entry, public page capture, import, or campaign activity).
- Campaign participation data: responses submitted through hosted pages, event signups, personalized page tokens, and donation-related submissions linked to campaigns.
- Donation records: donation amounts, currency, donor name and email, payment status, and references needed to reconcile transactions with payment providers. Give-2 does not store full payment card numbers; card processing is handled by third-party payment providers configured per organization.

Technical and usage information
- Device and connection data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and similar technical data collected in server logs and security controls.
- Cookies and similar technologies: session cookies used to authenticate portal users and protect against cross-site request forgery. Our marketing pages do not use advertising cookies.
- AI-assisted features: when authorized users generate campaign creative with AI tools, we may send prompts and usage metadata to our AI provider and store usage records for billing, security, and service improvement.
2. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and secure the Give-2 platform and hosted campaign experiences.
- Authenticate users, enforce role-based access, and administer organizations, campaigns, contacts, events, and integrations.
- Process and display donation and signup flows, route payments to configured providers, and maintain donation and campaign records for Customers.
- Send, schedule, and track email and SMS outreach initiated by authorized Customers, including delivery status and compliance-related logging.
- Respond to sales, support, and early-access inquiries submitted through our public forms.
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot errors, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
- Improve features, reliability, and security of the service, including analysis of aggregated or de-identified usage patterns.
We process portal and donor data on behalf of Customers to deliver the service they configure. Customers determine what information they collect from supporters through campaign pages and how they use that information in their programs.
3. How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:
- With the Customer organization you interact with: information you submit on a hosted campaign page, event signup, or donation flow is available to the organization operating that campaign.
- With service providers: we use trusted vendors that help us run Give-2, such as cloud hosting, database services, email delivery (including Amazon SES), SMS delivery infrastructure, payment processors (such as Stripe or iPOSPays, depending on organization configuration), and AI providers used for optional creative generation. These providers process information only to perform services for us and are subject to contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
- For legal and safety reasons: when required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or the integrity of the platform.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
- With consent: when you or the relevant Customer has directed us to share information or has otherwise provided consent.
4. Payment information
When donations or paid signups are enabled, payment information is collected and processed directly by the payment provider configured for the relevant organization. Give-2 receives transaction references, status updates, and limited donor details needed to record the gift or registration. We do not store primary account numbers or full card data on Give-2 servers.
5. Data retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the service, meet contractual and legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type:
- Portal account and organization records are retained while the account or organization remains active and for a reasonable period afterward.
- Donor, contact, campaign, donation, and event records are retained according to Customer needs and platform configuration unless deletion is requested and permitted by law.
- Marketing and beta inquiry submissions are retained to respond to requests and maintain business records.
- Security, audit, and SMS delivery logs are retained for operational and compliance purposes for limited periods.
Customers may request deletion or export of certain organization-held data through their authorized portal administrators, subject to legal and contractual requirements.
6. Security
We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. These measures include access controls, encrypted transport (HTTPS), hashed credentials, role-based permissions, and infrastructure isolation for customer environments. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information, or to receive a portable copy of information you provided.
- Portal users: you may update profile information through the portal or by contacting your organization administrator.
- Donors and supporters: requests relating to information collected through a Customer’s campaign should generally be directed to that organization, which controls how supporter data is used in its fundraising program. We will assist Customers in responding when appropriate.
- Marketing inquiries: you may contact us using the information below regarding contact or beta access submissions.
We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights permitted by law.
8. Children’s privacy
Give-2 is intended for use by organizations and their authorized staff. Hosted campaign pages are designed for general fundraising audiences and are not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through our marketing site. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
9. International users
Give-2 is operated from the United States. If you access the service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate. Those countries may have data protection laws that differ from the laws of your jurisdiction.
10. Third-party links and hosted pages
Hosted campaign pages and organization-branded sites may include links to third-party websites or services that are not controlled by Give-2. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any organization whose campaign you support and of any external site you visit.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes may also be communicated through the portal or by other appropriate means. Your continued use of Give-2 after an update becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy, to the extent permitted by law.
